Joom – The Rich May Lose Their Heads
 

Brief: Help shoppers realize that they often overpay in traditional stores and encourage them to switch to Joom for e-commerce shopping.


Insight: At first, I shop like a millionaire, but later, guilt kicks in—because I don’t earn that much.


Idea: When shopping in a traditional store, the key is not to lose your head—stop in time and remember that you can buy the same thing for 10 times less.


Story: The campaign humorously contrasts the outdated, extravagant shopping habits of European and Oriental royalty with the smarter, more efficient ways people shop today.


Localisation: The campaign ran in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, and Russia. 


Results: After this campaign, Joom began calling itself the fastest-growing e-commerce platform in Europe. A Black Friday spot from this series helped increase sales 2.5 times compared to the previous year and 5 times compared to an average shopping day.
